Island rooms on Vuurtoreneiland design by Abbie Steinhauser and Bureauno

 

 

On this unique little patch of land in the Markermeer in the outskirts of Amsterdam we spent a whole winter building six special island rooms. Every cabin is unique and was carefully fitted out on location by our carpenters. Even though it was really cold and logistically challenging to say the least: Not too shabby as a location to work on.
